Transportation
Our Transportation Service
We provide a transportation service for our patients who are staying in the immediate Old Town Scottsdale area, as a courtesy to our patients who are not familiar with the area. This service is available on a first come, first served basis. We provide transportation to you Sunday through Thursday 8:30 a.m.– to 5:30 p.m. You may have to share a ride and/or wait a bit, if you choose to take advantage of our service. If you prefer to know exact pickup and dropoff times, we recommend that you arrange your own transportation.
When you arrive: If you have come by plane we will meet you in the baggage claim with a sign bearing your last name (regardless of whether or not you have bags). If you have come by bus, we will attempt to meet you at the bus terminal when you arrive with a sign bearing your last name. Either way, if you do not see someone holding a sign when you arrive, please be patient and wait either where you are or near the baggage carousel for your flight.
Please contact our office at (866) 876-6329 or (480) 657-7006 if you wish to use this service. We are open Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with a lunchbreak 12:30–2:30. Hopefully we will someday have an online form which you can use to submit your transportation information to us; for the time being, please see the Patient Forms section, where there is a Patient Transportation Request PDF form.
Renting a Car
If you prefer, you may rent a car while you are in Scottsdale. We have reasonably detailed directions about how to reach our office. There are 10 rental car companies (as of Sept. 2, 2003) with offices at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport:
Please note: If you are traveling alone and you will be receiving any narcotics and/or pain medications, you will not be allowed to transport yourself and/or travel alone.
